Because i dont want to brake my guitar or anything :lol: then i'd really be screwed :upset: the thing just doesn't look like it can bend that much without snapping right out so i have a limit with the amount i bend with the whammy.

You can bend it down as far as you want but it will probably go out of tune.
Don't bend it up or you will break it.

I can do divebombs with my guitar (a strat copy) but it gets way out of tune afterwards, seeing as it is not a locked trem. I'm not sure you can do any damage unless your bridge is somehow messed up. You should be able to take the whammy bar all the way to the body unless something is wrong.

What the above guys have said, and:
If you get your Strat setup right, and fit it with locking tuners (Schaller), a lubricated nut (Graph Tech Trem-nut), and good saddles (Graph Tech String Savers), the trem should not force you out of tune either.
