Short switch question.

This is a stupid question but what it the name of switches on guitar that when you flick them they automatically go back to the position they were in before you touched it. (dosnt stay flicked) :amaze:

momentary switch. more often then not, theyre push-button, but they also come in lever-style.


and theres two types: momentary on, and momentary off. momentary on stays in the off possition, and is only in the on position while held there, and vise versa for the momentary off.
