For grunge, your guitarist uses a lot of effects. Actually, I'm not really into heavy effects, only distortion/overdrive and compression/sustain. Tell him lay off the pedals and write more riffs per song, the top one got boring after a while.

Yeah, I sorta agree with the effects. But the riffs thing, yeah we could have more but we're fine with the ones we have. We're grunge, look at some Nirvana songs, like Lounge Act and Blew, thats only a few riffs played over and over again. Same with some Local H, like Fritz's Corner and Bag Of Hammers. But, thanks for checking out the songs man. If you have any songs, I'd be more than happy to check them out.

I know what you mean, but atleast extend the riff a little, its pretty boring after a while. I'm a fan of Nirvana, but they add dynamics and other things to it.

Also, look into some sort of better recording device, even a decent computer sound card with a dynamic mic plugged into it would sound better.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be a prick or anything, just telling you what I feel.

Oh no, don't worry, I understand you completely. And later on, we plan on getting better recordings and such. And I'm hoping to add some stuff to newer originals to make them longer, better. They had a bass player before me and he didnt contribute anything to songs or anything. So I'm hoping once we write new originals I can add some stuff into it and make the songs better and more diverse.

And again, thanks for listening to our music, I'm definitely taking what you said into consideration. Maybe later on I'll post a better version of these songs with some extended riffs or bridges or something.

thats strange cuz a guy that graduated from my school last year looks a lot like him, plays the drums, and his name is joe, but he lives in new jersey.
