But im not sure. Right now i cant really fit my drums and stands so that they are in the right position. Ive got a bass, 3 rack toms, a floor tom, snare, and 7 cymbals. I'd thought I would get a rack because it would allow more freedom with positioning and save floor space. However, I'm kind of on a tight budget...what kind of rack do you guys think I should get? Oh yeah, my toms use those pearl ISS mounts, is that a problem?

at my local store there is a Dixon rack for $100 canadian...it's pretty good...my cousin got one and he's had it for a good 7 or 8 years of HEAVY gigging...

we don't get much Dixon here in the US, not that i've seen anyway.
Your best options are either gibraltar road series or pearl icon... both have pros and cons. the gibraltar has, for some, been known to have slippage issues. The icon is BUTT UGLY. you decide.
Either way you go, though, do your research and make sure you know what you need to buy, or you'll be making little trips to the shop weekly because you're missing a mem lock or something. (seriously, heed my words.)

i'd suggest the Pearl ICON, but get a 2-sided rack for your toms and cymbals. and then have your floor tom floating in the extra floor space.

Since you already have a pearl kit, you might aswell stick with Pearl. Grab the 3 sided Icon rack and you'll be sweet! Racks work wonders. Try looking out for secon hand racks. that way you can save on the clamps and boom arms and everything else

Well kinda but i mean if you are talking about a pedal it would be diffrent seeing you use it and you have to make sure the feel is right. A rack is a rack no matter what brand it is. They are both top notch stuff and only diffrence is the bar.
pearl icon. And i dont think its ugly at all. its nice and sturdy. I do liek gibraltar but not their rack. Unless it was just a side extension rack just to put some efx cymbals on but im just rabbling on.
