if youre looking for really easy stuff with really easy strumming you could go for some blink acoustic stuff like what went wrong but if you wanna get into better sounding stuff play the acoustic version of times like these by foo fighters. another really great acoustic song thats really easy is swing life away from rise against

Well it's probably too late to help you play at school 5 days ago (try and get this stuff organised just a BIT earlier next time, it helps ;)) but have you looked at http://www.tdknights.com/trea/songs ? Look through there for some acoustic artists (or artists who have done some acoustic tracks) and see what you can find. Even if a song has previously been recorded as being played on an electric, it can sound just as good on acoustic. If there's a song you really like that you think will be easy enough, don't avoid it simply because it's played on acoustic.
