ok so i've been given the chance of buying a tama HP200 single pedal second hand for about £45. right now i'm playing a pearl P100 that came with my kit. I'm wondering how much better you all think the HP200 is and if its worth buying?

the IC Juniors are good, but it's probably more worth your while to save up for a top-of-the-line pedal.

I think it would be better to save for a real Iron Cobra..But thats me, it would save money in the long run

If I were you I'd get a pro pedal. Not that the IC juniors are bad, it's just not worth that kind of money used. Save up buddy, it's worth it in the long run.

I dont see the point in saving up for a pro pedal that like £400.

Ive played a lot of pedals and there wasnt that much difference between a cheapo Mapex one, an Eliminator and ICs. Theyre all pedals and are all fully functional and reliable.

I dont get it though, what do ICs have that the £70 Mapex doesnt?

durability.

my pacific 402 was awesome... for about the first 2 months, before it all started falling apart.

Well, I suppose if you gig it will falll apart. My stock pedal is fine, its actually comfier than some higher level stuff. That could be because of tension and stuff but I like the feel of mine and I hate sensitive pedals, I like to have to put my foot down quite hard.

you'd love a tight IC then, man them things are HEAVY.

I'd stick with what you've got. I've played with a P-100 on the school's kit and I thought it was a lot better than my IC Jr was, even before I ruined it with WD-40.

But I feel weird with stock pedals.
My teacher got a different one on the POS kit and I love it. It's almost as good as my Yamaha's. No idea what it is, it's got no markings on it at all.

I would if I had enough cash  But unfortunately a pedal isnt on my priority list just yet. Maybe when I start working :thumb:
