Yeah I used to despise paiste because my first experience with the company wasnt pleasant. I barrowed some really low end cymbal and couldnt stand it.

over the years i've gone from Sabian B8's to Zildjians and now to Paiste

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments!

I love being able to look at a drumset and name what everything is (model, manufacturer, size, line) just by taking a glance at it

****!

how does the 2002s sound? I'm thinking of getting a 17 or 18" 2002 crash sometime in the near future.

I had an 18" but i didn't like the sound so I took it back and got another 17"

needless to say the 17 inchers sound HOT. (theres a slight pitch difference in the two i have)

the snare thats coming is a pearl eric singer signature snare.
6 1/2 X 14" maple with die cast hoops and 3 air vents.

I paid 1,100 for a four piece. (US)

I talked to the guy at guitar center for about 3 hours and it turns out we had some shared friends. so he gave me 200 dollars off.

I am saddened though. Theres a scratch on the front bass drum hoop. My friend played on it during a show and left a pair of sticks sitting on top of the bass drum, now theres a line all the way across next to the lugs. The 12" rack tom has a buncha dings on the side of it from touching the snare drum. I left my floor tom stand and bracket at a show a month back.. so now I can't mount my 10" (even though i wouldnt anyway).
