It's a shame Mike's never going to write anything that will be able to hold a candle to American Football and he's never going to be as great as his brother Tim. Nate could die and I don't think anyone would notice. I'm sorry, but it's true.

Considering Mike is in half of Tim's bands.. I think you can't really say either is responsible for the success. Nate's a tool though.

American Football are great. I'll need to try that whole fall asleep listening to their album after drinking thing. Stay Home and Honestly are very nice songs.

I've never really listened to Owen. Cap'n Jazz are amaaazing, and i know one of the brothers (maybe both) is in that band.

Well, I've really only listened to No Good For No One Now and I couldn't get into it. It put me to sleep everytime.

I find it pretty entertaining. The only time I've ever fallen asleep while listening to Owen was when I was high.

i like both of them, but i prefer Owen.

one criticism of both bands though, is that they are a little samey. Owen definitely needs to progress.

There's an American Football up on indietorrents, which I'm downloading at the moment. Maybe when it's done (which will probably be never since there's one seeder and nine leechers) I'll upload it to YSI and post the link here. I don't know what it's a video of, hopefully a live video, but should be great anyway.

It's a pretty bad video. The guy was standing behind some people instead of being in front, so you get some nice shots of the backs of people's heads, and get to hear some talking at the show. The drummer is hidden behind all of this, leaving you with Mike and the other guy that nobody cares about. The quality's not that great either, and the video would refuse to open up in Quicktime and Winamp.

Cap'n Jazz isn't much better than American Football. There's a good chance that AF might be better, actually. I used to like bands like Cap'n Jazz and Braid, but it got boring fast.
