Biography:

Vendetta Red was formed in Seattle back in 1998. 5 friends by the names of Erik Chapman, Joseph Childres, Justin Cronk, Zach Davidson, and Mike Vermillion formed the band.

The band first started off by releasing “6 Kisses And A Blatant Reminder of Why We Are Alive”, their first EP, on their own. They then toured the West Coast promoting their EP. The year after touring for their EP, they released their debut album titled “Blackout Analysis”. After Blackout Analysis, they released “White Knuckled Substance” in October 2001. Their CD was getting played on the local-radio and was getting good feedback. Epic Records had heard their music and was really impressed by the bands ambition and offered them a deal in early 2002. They then went back into the studio and recorded their second EP titled “Cut Your Noose” and a year later released “Between The Now And Never”. They then went on a lengthy North American tour, which included the Warped Tour. After all of the touring they went back to the studio to record another full-length album. In August 2005, they released “Sisters Of The Red Death” and have now been touring the album since.

The type of music Vendetta Red plays is mainly Rock. Their styles of music are Post-Grunge and Emo. Most of their songs that they play are very energetic.

I didn't know they had so many CDs either. I really wish I could of found more info on them to write about. My From First to Last FA should be easier because they will have a new CD out by them and I will have seen them twice.

Mine's gonna be shorter. <_<

I have Sister's of the Red Death. Haven't really listened to it. :p I actually have tons of music I've been meaning to listen to, I just haven't yet. Damn you Soulseek. :p

Good job though Matt.

Nice profile, even though it is short.

I definitely don't listen to VR enough. SOTRD is meh for me, but I love BTNATN. I didn't even know they had all of those other albums.

Good job, Matt :chug:

I have heard a couple tracks by them, but I don't remember which, or even if I liked them. I'll check them out sometime though.

I got BTNATN right when it came out back in like 8th grade and it's still one of my favorite CDs. I like their darker, screamy songs better but their atmospheric and pop-punk songs are great too. I remember wanting to look into getting their older material but never got around to it. I also checking their website all the time for a new CD and so when they finally put out SOTRD I was pretty excited. But the CD is pretty lackluster. They kinda pulled an MCR and focused much more on the pop-punk sound. The CD is still pretty good but it doesn't touch BTNATN in my opinion. Their lyrics on both CDs are absolutely incredible though.
