i know this isnt really the place but the 'advanced' forums arent supposed to be every 3 threads 'i wanna play double bass faster' because it really isnt an advanced question, want my advice? PRACTICE!!! just get comfortable with a position, and go, you'll start out slow, but you WILL build speed slowly, it wont happen overnight. I've been jamming out on double bass about a year now, and my progress is UNBELIVABLE, i'm playing along with Lars on 'Master Of Puppets' and Matt on "Determined" so there really is no secret other than PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

what you're saying is like saying: "why does everyone put pictures of their kits and audio of them playing in the gear and media section? Its always happening."
This is why it is called a forum, people ask questions.
