this is the amazing part ready? 260 including shipping for all of those. no creaks no nothing. a tiny bit of keyholeing but still. the 18" crash does have some tiny dents on the edge but still. these replaced my stock cymbals so im very very happy

Man, I wish I had cool cymbals :(

You probably wont be able to get the marks of, its the same with mine although I havent tried polish but the stick marks wont come off.

Try using a cloth or something and rubbing it off, I used my finger on mine but I wouldnt recommend it for good cymbals like those.

A rock crash as a ride? Man you're abstract :P
I got all my Agops for 380, and that's including shipping, I think I got a better deal ;)

But "For what it's worth", I think you got a deal.

PS. Sometimes dents make the cymbal sound better.

those marks should definetely come off man...any decent cymbal cleaner, as bad as that stuff is. some of that, and i bet those cymbals will sound even better. but damn...260, maybe ill check out ebay.

drummingducktape
02-17-2006, 10:41 AM
yea it still sounds fine but the crash is very heavy and sounds like a very good crash ride

Record it for me ;)

I have an 18" Mel Lewis Cr/Ride and it's incredible. Is it a dark sound?

so i dont have a stand for the 18" crash. its pretty heavy but would one of those boom arms that you attch to something work?

Talos

No, a good quality straight stand would do the trick, an arm for something that big wouldnt be ideal

It does. My 21" ride is currantly set up on a Gibraltar arm that cost £25.

^^^After cleaning. Obviously it's the one on the left...

I'd say go for it...a great investment.

Well, mine is mouted on the tom post on the bass drum, but that picture above has the ride mounted on an arm attached to a hi hat stand, so as long as the stand's sturdy enough, I don't see why not.

well the guy at the music store wouldnt let me take the arm for a ride or a crash so i ended up getting a 80 peral stand for 60 but ended up mounting half the new stand on the bass drum and takeing my tom and putting it in the base of my new stand if you can follow what im saying

Groove juice will get that stuff out..Just dont let that stuff dry on ure cymbals or they will change into a dark ugly brown

I think hes being sarcastic.

I didn't think he was.. The cymbal definitely looks better in the second on in my opinion.

It's a scimitar anyway, who cares about logos.
