quite obviously it's bozzio's kit... with all of those totally custom cymbals and toms, it's gotta be work at least 50 grand
Drum Phil

They arent custom. They're signature. You used to be able to buy them

what a dumb thread...
if i ordered a 324539 piece kit from DW, it would be a *titch* more expensive than, say, a 4pc. tama swingstar.
You need less variables.

who does bozzio drum for?
himself. every now and then he'll fill in for someone in a band if they have other stuff to do.
Its a shame. Hes should play for some REALLY good band.

I think Grant Collins' kit is very big, he's an Australian limb independance player person. He's friends with bozzio i think. His kit costs $50,000 Australian.

It would be if he didnt use it. He's an orchestral drummer so its all used.

bozzio's kit is rediculous. I see no point in it.
Drum Phil
02-18-2006, 05:52 AM
He's an orchestral drummer. He uses the whole thing to weave peices as someone might on a piano. You can make a tune with 4 piano keys, so why have so many?

lol wow thats more then my mom's minivan :amaze:
Drums on of the most expensive instrument around.
But there is no such thing as the most expensive drumkit.
If you take Bozzio's kit ( wich you people believe is the most expensive ) and just put another cowbell on it.... then you have a more expensive kit

The story of that kit was amazing it was something like 10 drums short of the worlds biggest kit, it was referred to "have eeverything including the kitchen sink" pretty immpressive

Yea, he just throws his kit into the back of his car and drives to the venue an setup
That thing has to be a bitch to mike up. Do they use ladders to put the cymbals in place? Btw, i heard a saw a vid of him and his kit sounded ****e
I reckon that the worlds largest kit which Chad Smith played at some point was probably the most expensive somethin stupid like 308 pieces (i think)
