Anyways I like AJFA because is has the last song that cliff burton started to

They have that ESP signature, in a Music store near me, its £260, bargain, the reason it is so cheap is because, it has chipped paint on the back of the fretboard, its still use-able and i would just put a sticker over it lol... Lovely guitar, I have a gibson epiphone, i play guitar sometimes, but i am a full time drummer :)
I asked if i could test it a while ago, unlike te gibson i have, it felt like the guitar was playing for me!, Well worth Buying.., They also had an Kirk Hammet ESP signature series, Not sure of the model as i say, i am a drummer :D

They both are nothing special.
I haven't tried to play all of 'tallica solos, but I did have some problems with Creeping Death, Ktulu and Phantom Lord.
i love the riff at the end of Fade to black, after the singing stops, its almost impossible to get tired of that song as well

Which riff might that be? Is that the one that then has "Noone but me can save myself....." etc? The song fades out doesn't it?

Yea Load is good, It got alot of lashing lol, But i know why it didn't go down with most people, I know the true reason why a lot of people say they wen't downhill after Black album
I think load/Reload are awesome personally though
edit: Ok the reason i feel load + got the flack is,
Look at the previous albums
Kill em all
Ride the lightning
Master of puppets
And Justice for all
Black Album
All these amazing albums over a period of time......
Ok, looking at the 5 above albums what type of fans do you think Metallica have?? I guess Hardcore Metal fans...
Ok, all these fans here of a new album coming out.!!! They get excited and rush to their local store to get copys quick, and they see an album there called Load, they grab it, and race to the counter, They get home and play it, and find Country???? WTF?? a bluesy feel, somewhat not heavy metal....
Its totally different to what they expect, of course they don't like it as much as previous albums, if they liked Country songs ect: They wouldnt be a Metallica fan lol, But of course, the upside is, They gained alot of fans who like such music as the tracks from load/Reload, and i know people who like there music from Load, to St Anger... Thats my theory as to why Load got the flack... Anyone have any other ideas as to why??? :amaze:

I can't be bother to check but I know james plays the last short solo. Kirk play riffs and stuff at the beginning, then james joins and they both play same thing I think.
James does all of it recording. Live kirk does both solos and some other stuff. just work it out with your other guitarist, you don't have to pick whose kirk and whose james

MOP was still kind of screechy in parts. By AJFA, the Jäger consumption had reached an all time high because of Cliff's death, so the vocals are appropriately beer-drenched and tough-sounding.

Every metallica album uo to date excluding St anger and garage inc are FUKING awsome. and anyone who sayd differently shood hav been shot at birth. i personally think Welsome Home(sanitarium) and all Of The Ktulu are there best somns and ajfa is there best album. . .METALLICA ROCK
cant decide on bst album but justice is cert 1 of them. anger may not be amazing but its still summat 2 listen 2, an its still metallica. cant decide on fav songs; like em all really. AND WOT U SAID BOUT GARAGE INC. IS F'UCKIN BULL'S'HIT!! garage inc. rocks. ps, lars does rock.

bob rock isnt to blame for metallica recent slum, i think its just there coming to grips wif things(e.g. loosing bassist, james' rehab) and its just reflecting on that. i think there next album with rob will be excellent and i kant wait for it. bob bob has done alot of things for metallica, and for that we must show him some respect. . . .
...definately... i agree... have u ever wondered how they manage to come up wit so many different and perfect riffs, let alone lyrics.. all 8 albums ful of great tunes

my band r playin in a talent show dis wednesday, were gonna play 4 whom da bell tolls and go straight into a compilation of met solos played by our lead guitarist over a few fast riffs played by myself. then our our drummer hits that familiar hi hat tap, followed by "gimme fuel gimme fire gimme that which i desire!" , an we play fuel. should go well, we practised loads. :thumb:

why not choose a good Metallica song?
Well, Bob Rock gave them a good mix for the first time in their career, true. I disagree greatly with enter natman's assessment of the quality of the lyrics over time, though. The quality of the lyrics fell off horribly after the black album. Look at the brilliance of the lyrics to a song like "For Whom the Bell Tolls." Don't think "Fuel" measures up, much less the crap that he's singing on St. Anger.
