hmm some songs sounded good, others not so good. But nothing to wow as I would have liked. The instrumental had a load era Metallica ness to it. THen there was one song, where it sounded like a not as hard Korn.

Lol, The one song reminded me a little of Korn also. I like the songs, kind of "funky" feel to them.

It seems he now has the freedom that he always wanted. He would not of been able to do this with Metallica, I could imagine him and James seriously butting heads.

Newsted is one on my favorite bassists. If you look at chophouse records, he basically is trying his hand at multiple projects. They are all basically get together jams, nothing seems solid though. He has some things which are oldschool hardcore metal/thrash not a fan of that really. But he has some things which if were worked on a bit could be real tight. A few things though are just crazy on there.

Wasn't great,I really hated the vocalist.I love Jason's playing,but this stuff really didn't do anything for me.

I never really liked Newsted. I didn't like the stuff he did with Metallica except for ......and justice for all. I dont think hes a very good bass player really either. I am really glad that metallica got Rob Trujillo instead. His stuff on Suicidal Tendencies is AWESOME!

I like Jason, he's a quality bassist with a wide variety of sounds and styles and doesnt stick in one place, he wants to do stuff. People say hes not Cliff, which is true, but Cliff was ultimatly show-off of the century, maybe he was making up for something? eh? EH?
