I have an idea of whats going on.....how funny is it that the guys name is john slaps bass and the bassists name is John on myspace. I think someone is trying to show off his work and maybe get a few plays on myspace in the process.

I play bass, probably even better than I play drums. That was a good little recording with a couple of rough patches regarding notes/counting but the feel and overall playing is quite good. But Jon, don't be an idiot about this stuff--if you're going to whore your recording post in the appropriate forum, and say it's you. The names match up WE KNOW. If you say something dumb like that you're not proud of your work. Now either you've got the wrong attitude entirely or you really don't feel you're ready for others to hear it. If you're not, and you still want feedback, just say so. What you did just makes you look like a dumbass newbie. No one respects that.
