move over claypool, there's some really cool ideas on there - to be honest thats my favourite type of slapping. Grooving, not fast not with a really smooth tone (ie the players on here whose basses never actually have the slapped sound). I like it man

Not bad stuff, only problem is you sound a bit too much like Claypool who is a very idiosyncratic player and people might think you are trying to imitate him.
But please try and get full songs rather than just some random basslines, try and make some solo pieces, highly rewarding.

I like, it is Les Clapool-ish, which is good. The first song sounds like a song I saw on a dvd when he used the whamola at Bonaroo.

I took the whamola thing and played it on a fretless bass with some retarded muting effort. Its not really an original thing

He's got some great riffs. Sounds pretty good for claiming to be recorded with a computer mic.

it's cool, but you still need to work with your timing. Your timing isn't the greatest.

i disliked it a lot. but then again i really don't like les claypool, so go figure. i am just a stickler for time, i mean it has to be PERFECT and it just isn't there. not only the time, but melodically cand harmonically it doesn't DO anything- i don't like half step phrases that have no sense of any diatonic direction. just isn't my thing i guess, but thanks for letting me listen!

and heeerrrrreeee comes the hate..! I knew it was only a matter of time...... On fretless jam I play an ibanez gsr200 that have the frets torn out. I wasn't copying jaco because I bought the bass from some pot head for 15 bucks b4 I ever heard anything from jaco or knew he had a self made fretless although I think the pot head kid I got it from was trying to emulate him. It has all the volume and tone nobs missings two tuner nobs missing....and shorts out alot. The other two are on there are recorded on my Peavey grind 5 string.....I'm a poor musician its hard to afford good instruments when You are basically homeless....I just got a place! was sleeping in my car for a month after I decided to go on a traveling adventure.....my hometown is Broadway North Carolina....I ended up in beverly mass. Not that any of this stuff matters......Just giving the story of the bass player that couldn't. Also please don't throw hatred at me, I never claimed to be a virtuoso......

And no one is "throwing hate". They are entitled to their opinion.
