songs utilising bass chords??

So yea... Can anyone give me a few songs that utilise a lot of bass chords? I know Love Thing by Stu Hamm, im sorta looking for stuff like that, but any genre will do, im open minded!!

Jaco's version of Blackbird uses chords. Or just make stuff up. It is pretty easy to make neat sounding songs with chords.

Instead of searching for a song utilising chords, make your own. A good place to start is classical music. Not only will it help with chords, it will also show you effective ways to use chords.

Thanks guys, ill have a look for some Jaco stuff. Yea i doodle about with chords, i was just looking for some stuff to get practicing(sp?) them.

When i started using chords, i played 12 bar blues... then i started playing Pop songs with Chords, Mainly maroon 5 - Sunday Morning, Gavin DeGraw - belief, Jeff Buckley - Opened Once and a couple other tunes, i just played the chords...

a word of advice, when i play chords i usually leave the 5th out, even when just playing a 1-3-5 chord, if i do isually make the 5 My bass note, when i play 7s i go 1-3-7, with 9s 1-3-7-9 ow 1-3-9
