Well, technically I wasn't miked, but it was something close to that.
Recently, I had a gig involving my high school band, my jazz combo and my concert band. We had a program called "Sessions 2006" that consisted of the bands involved at my high school and putting on a show for the community. It lasted for 3 days. Best time I've had so far in my year :)
After the show, my music teacher (who happens to have ran the show), brought a CD of our performance. He put it into a CD player and played it (duh!) and I was amazed on what we sounded like. The CD picked up stuff that I didn't even hear when I was playing (such as our sax going off time in the solo part of our combo).
The point is that if you EVER have a chance to give yourself feedback on how you're playing, DO IT! It will benefit you in many ways.
