vidio - my band :)

hey guys, my band did a vidio about a week ago and i thought some of you might be intrested in seeing it so hear it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLjABvpZ-3s
the qualitys not too good and its realy dark wich means you cant see anything. the real dvd version (wich were gona put with our next cd) is much better quality but you get the idia.
feedback on the song the bass playing and the vidio would be much appreciated, even if you do just think its a complete load of ****e (just say why).

That was pretty cool and interesting stuff. The video kept skipping every few secs for me though.:confused:

The bass playing was nice and tasteful although at times there was a bit too much fretboard buzz. Maybe your action is too low or the treble is absolutely sky high but you might wanna address the buzzing.

It has something emo-ish mixed with some real cool prog elements.

Well, I'm liking this very much, but then this is the sort of music I listen to.
The bass work sounds pretty damm good.
I would normally say you should add vocals but I really don't think it needs any.
I probably woulnt have it so long, I'd shorten it massively but thats my only criticism.
The video is also quite well done, just needs some proffessional refinaing perhaps.

:) glad people like it. lots of our other songs have vocals and stuff and for the record the vidio looks alot more proffesional on the real version wich were puting on dvds. and yea the bass is very trebily i agree (we actualy recorded it allmost half a year ago now, my tones changed considerabley since).
any way if you liked it theres more stuff on www.myspace.com/filamentuk wich is more emoish but the stuff were writing at the moment is much more marsvolta like and progy.

The instruments are all very well-played, with good parts, but the song kind of dragged on forever. It needed a hook, most of it just sounded like filler. Not interesting enough for a whole vocal song.

The song, video and bass were pretty hot. I wasn't too fond of the stuff on your MySpace though. The singer's voice wasn't to my taste.
