Will flamed maple body produce the warwick growl? Its on a proline I would like to get, but I am accustomed to the usual bubinga on corvette standards.

Why have there been SOOOOOOO many warwick woods threads lately?
I'm not bashing on the threadstarter or anything like it, but I have seen a lot of these lately.

Masterman has a TwinJazz pup in the MM sweetspot (TJ is basically an MM pup, except its bipole like a jazz pup)

my Fortress is flamed maple. They produce a really low growl. its really nice wood and it looks stunning. i really like it.

i have the masterman, as i said above. and my instructor has a fortress one. i really prefer the masterman. the masterman have 3 concentric pots, volume/pan, treble/bass, treble/bass. you can set a differant treble/bass for each pickup, its a really handy tool and lets you dial in basically any tone you want. the only thing that i think i like better about the fortress one is that it has a active/passive push/pull pot. but overall I prefer the Masterman. My Fortress is a 97 or a 98, so it was like the last years that they were handmade.
