Is this real?

I don't really trust ebay and there is no information of this bass, so can anyone tell me if this bass is real. It's a red fender aerodyne bass.

I just looked on Fender's website and they don't say anything about a red aerodyne bass... so either the website hasn't been updated to include that color or that color has been discontinued. One way or another, it looks like a legit bass after looking at the pix.

you can get those and dolphin gray Aerodynes in Japan only

it's japanise exclusive.. you can also get it black with two pickguards.. the chrome stuff and the usual one.. you can get it candy apple red without a pickguard and don't remember..

The American Fender site won't show it because red and blue(the blue is a perfect match to my Ric) aerodynes are manufactured and distributed only in Japan. Most japanese online music stores will be more than happy to ship internationally though.

that looks legit, though not like the new ones in america.. only black w/ no pickguard option (i think?).. no chrome control plate and a strat style jack...
