Steve Burns. Anyone else heard his absolutely amazing cd. I think its one of the best cds of our time. Honestly its an amazing cd and was just wondering if anyone else had ever listened to it. And if just wondering, yeah its the old guy who was off of Blues Clues. Check out my review on it too I made. Its a damn good cd. Reminds of lots of Eels

Steve: "Hey blue, what is it?"

Blue: *roughroughrough*

Kids: "It's a fanboy!"

Steve: "That's right!"

Thats a huuuuuuuuuuuge call you've made there Biz. It's a nice little pop album with some memorable tunes, but it's pretty hollow stuff.

Might Little Man has a great video though.

How can you describe it as pop?

I take it you have no understanding of music, yes? Pop is not just what's played on the radio. Maybe I should've have added "indie" in front of pop so that you could've seen a buzzword, let your brain skim and then think "ah yes, indie. good".

Biz you're the worst poster in the universe. And how dare you insult Bjork, scrub.

I don't generally take this thing serious, but Biz, you're a ****wit, through and through.

For one I'm not an austraaaaalian, I'm a New Zealander. Are geography and/or basic reading skills not taught where you're from?

Yeah, and trust me (note: I'm bragging for arguments sake, k guys?) I'd use your musical knowledge to wipe mine's ***.

I think Steve Burns is a cool guy, and it's nice to see him follow his dream after putting up with kiddie stuff for a while. His music is far too innocent to hate, but far too mild to enjoy. It's like a nice bowl of oatmeal, assuming you let it sit for a while so it's not too hot.

But then I see you actually like good stuff like the Stooges and Cat Power. So, you are calling this pop? Wow! Okay ill leave you be with your Bjork loving ***.

stop the hatin' brotha. just because you dont think much of drive by truckers doesnt mean that they are "****ty"

When I used to play Magic: The Gathering when I was about 11 or 12, we used to refer to inexperienced players as "scrubs."

Wow this thread had me rofl-ing. Biz sounds like a tool, but I'm not one to judge, so he's still neutral in my books.

On the topic, Blue's Clue's is the worst show ever, even for kids. It's boring, unrealistic, and hardly eductaional.

O right, I've never heard his music, but I do love Eels. Hmm...

His musis doesn't aound like the Eels, it sounds like a less good Flaming Lips. Less good in every way.

Oh yeah, Blues Clues was badass with Steve, it's that new fag that has ruined it.

I didn't like blues clues either. I made the title of this forum Blues Clues because I knew know matter what, people would check it out. If I would have titled it Steve Burns, people would have overlooked it. Now on the topic of the eels, I dont think his music itself sounds like the eels, I believe the lyrics are very eels like. I could see all of those songs being on an Eels cd. If you disagree thats fine but thats what I think.

Real men don't use an S in the word apologize. The Z is edgy. The S is girly.

Because we all know indie pop beats the hell out of regular pop.
