a friend of mine and I sat down together and wrote this together. i had the concept and basic message down and he helped write it into the perfect words. i always thought it was good. enjoy.
Everytime -
Everytime I see you with him
This frustration
Exponentially builds up within.
Because, you see,
Unfortunately The Eros-ian arrow
That hit lovers, two -
Did target me too
And I am lost in its hold.
Through my crying I am trying
To see you desperately.
Yet still I fail
Miserably, and I wail
For our hearts still beat separately.
It feels instead, as if a bullet's embed-
-ed deep within my chest,
And a gaping hole, in the midst of my soul
That won't let me forget:
How I said I didn't love you
and then my pact to end my lies.
How I long to see me and not him
In the reflection of your eyes.
But all of those lonely nights
That I would spend dreaming
Of us were a waste because I
won't go behind him scheming.
All the time -
How often you talk to him.
You're so close
Sharing together all that's within.
Cast from above
He won your love
When your lips met below his nose
And when the smoke
Cleared you had broken
The deadly curse of the rose.
Though he came late
His foundation was great
And his building's lasted so long.
Even miles apart,
The love in your hearts
That I see is still so strong.
It's said "Dreams come true"- but my nightmare has too.
It haunts me in my bed
How I must live life, without you by my side
I just can not forget:
How I said I didn't love you
and then my pact to end my lies.
