for me, its just about perfect. i really really like it. there have been many mxers who've played it, its a very comfortable 6 string for having 19mm spacing. the neck is super thin, and the action is really really nice now that i have it set up. the best thing about it is, its beautiful. i love the tone of it. and its just a great bass for the 900 i payed for it used

I've seen an electric upright before, but never one that had absolutely on body...the one I saw was shaped like a normal electric, but really big and it still only had 4 strings...actually, i think it was kinda pointy, so not totally normal, but it still had cutaways and all that

the aguilar weight is close to 50 lbs, and with nothing supporting it underneeth i'm afarid it would put all the pressure on the face plate, and bend it and possibly cause damage to the circuts inside. the 4 space has a nice flat inside bottom that the aguilar can rest on the 6 space dosen't. otherwise i would.

I don't know, I realize a lot of jazz musicians use Epifani.
I am more of a rock player, but I really love the clarity of these speakers. Clear and warm, the price and power were right for me too.

Never cared much for SWR, Ampeg seems to be more of a name than a product, and Aguilar is nice. I was actually planning on buying a Basson 410 cab, but the power rating wasn't right. I'd like to try some Mesa gear, but I don't have the money or the need.
