Awesomeness!!! master class

Anybody here familiar with Steve Nelson(Vibraphonist) or Stephane Belmondo(Trumpet). They came for a master class today because Donald Brown is hosting a new jazz festival in Knoxville. When watched them perform close quarters and then some of the students got to go sit and play. I got to play and it was great fun... Afterwards, we all went to 4620(a jazz club) and watched Rusty Holloway, Roy Jackson, Keith Brown, Donald Brown, and Steve Nelson play a couple of sets and then have an open jam session. I love college... that's all I have to say... best day of the year so far.:thumb:

Yeah man... Are you talking about the Steve Nelson from the Dave Holland Quintet. He's a sick vibist. Matter of fact, Dave Hollands big band won a grammy for the cd titled "Overtime."

yeah...he's such so modest. Me and my friend were driving him around town to take him to his hotel and then to the gig and he was like "I think we won a Grammy last night..." but he kept staring out the window like it wasn't really that big of a deal. He's a great guy.
