What are your views on Black Panthers, I think they're great. I've had mine for about two months now, and content. What do you guys think the best one is, and have you ever had any problems with them.

Well I have the Jimbo sig as well...:p ...But the BP snares are decently priced if you shop around. I got my BP 13'' steel snare for a little over 100 bucks and I use is as much and consider it just as versatile as my 10" and 14'' maple BP snare. Now the Akira snare...thats a chunk of change, make sure you play that one before you buy it. I love mine to death but still can't get it to sound like it does in Akira videos. But then again its the man playing it.:amaze:

I have a hammered steel 14x5.5 snare. I really love the sound, its not as versatile as wood but its got such a nice crack, the hammered shell tones down the brightness of the shell too.

I have a 14x3.5 birdseye and 14x6.5 aluminum (discontinued). They both kick ***... The aluminum was only 100 bucks used, and it's such an awesome, versatile piece of sexiness.

I'd really like a hammered brass at some point, too. Or even one of the limited edition hammered brass snares >_> Right..

I have the phosphor bronze 14"x3.5" and I love it! it has such a bite that can easily be defined over the band.
