As much as i hate ampeg and there overpriced products, warwicks sound damn PIMP though SVT-3's.

Anyone else have a good combo?

Oh man thats a hard question, im gonna say if you spend enough money on your bass it should sound great through any amp.


Ibanez SR 900 + Hartke XL Stack and head = :thumb: though.

Spector neck through tenor 5 through an SWR MObass head and Goliath III or Triad cabinet.

Clean preamp and overdriven poweramp is the way to go, imo.

Totally agreed. Played a Streamer Stage II 5 string and almost creamed my pants. Was only going through an ampeg 4x10 too.

Fender jp-90 through a GK 800rb head and Gk 4x10, absolutly the raspiest, growliest, Duff Mckagen on a bad pcp trip tone you can find : )
