I have a Fender Rumble 100, a Fender Jazz bass, and a MXR Bass DI+ with distortion. I was wondering if I could get a Krist Novoselic tone out of this. If possible how would I? Here are the settings on my equipment. Also how would I get my distortion to sound like Krist's distortion off of the song Breed? I know it is a lot of questions but thanks in advance. :)

Fender Rumble 100 settings: volume, bass, low mid, high mid, and treble

Fender Jazz bazz settings: volume, volume, and tone

MXR Bass DI+ setting: volume, bass, middle, and treble

MXR Bass DI+ distortion settings: volume, blend, trigger, and gain

PS: the trigger control on the distortion controls the noise gate

A very important part to his tone always is a stiff pick (preferabbly the stubby picks - short and fat) played as close as possible to the bridge

eq: bass 10 oclock
low mid 11 ''
high mid 1
treble 2

around that
a frown kinda shape and play close to the bridge as other guy said

mayb about 1/3 on the tone knob

For those who don't know he used a Gibson Ripper, so try and achieve a sort of Precision sound? Vintage fo course

My favorite Novoselic tone was on "You Know Your Right" which was a Warwick Dolphin.
