I am contemplating getting myself a Cort Artisan B4 Fretless.
http://www.cort.com/basses/artisan/b_index.html (The body will be swap ash, not mahogany)
My only concern at this point is with regards to the fact that the body and neck of the bass have not bean "sealed" as in laquiered or varnished, thus I will assume that oiling/waxing at interval will be needed.
What I would like to know is who of you play basses that have not been "sealed" and how you care for the wood. I have heard people mention lemon oil when it comes to the fretboard of the bass (can this also be used on the body?), but that kind of thing is rather hard to come by where I live, so any suggestioned/reccomendations would be great.
