A fairly decent bassist and fairly decent band...pretty decent pop punk. :thumb:

I heard that their most recent CD bombed so badly. I'm more of a fan of their "Perhaps, I Suppose..." CD. Their older stuff, as with many bands, represented the extent of their music making abilities.

^ Yeah, definitely...I think that's their best CD. Jon had good lines on that, like One Slowdance and Still.
/plays Still double time

^ It's way easier finger style...try to minimize the distance your hand as a whole travels. Stretch your fingers...it helps. It's a good warm up song if you play it slowly.

Well...if I go to the Danvers GC would you play it 2x for me?

^ Sure, if I'm around...isn't Danvers like an hour and a half from you?
If you want to travel that far just to see me play a song double time you need help. ;)

I think the tabs I got for Still are not the best way to play it so I might just figure it out by ear because it seems harder than it really should be.

^ I'm sure if you practiced a bit more you'd nail it. It's one of those songs that sounds a lot tougher than it is (which isn't very). It's a good experienced beginner/beginning mediocre bass player song, if that makes any sense.

Madthumbs, I know this is off topic but what other effects (if any) were you usuing for that one track you did ,entitled Slap Comp 4, other than Delay?

Gav, that recording is really old, and i can now play it properly.
DNA'sWhiteShadow:
I have the boss ME-50B, that is what i used for the delay, i also used a an effect called Enhancer with all the controls for set to full. It gives it a very brittle tone that i think sounds cool when slapping, i also used the same settings on "bass league"

Through a very weird billing one night, they actually opened for my metal band in Seattle.... very weird show, pop-punk band that's known and on a label, opening up for an unknown metal band that's not signed.... very weird indeed.
