today.
I forgot how f.ucking amazing they were live! D.amn. I saw them tonight with Coheed, I only bloody turned up late didn't I and missed like 3 Thrice songs :upset: I thought they were coming on later. But I'll live, the songs I saw were sick!
I saw them play an acoustic & met them earlier in the day as well, we waited like 2 hours, they only played 3 songs, but it was pretty much worth it.
So did anyone else hit up any of the London stuff?
I have some pictures from today which I will upload tomorrow.
Peace out xx
ps I forgot how blindingly brill Teppei is live innit.
There is a concert thread if that would be better.

I'm jealous Jas. Thrice is my favorite band. I've only seen them live twice period. One day would be awesome.

D&P regular and MX authority figure.
Are you and Jim in the same closet? That would explain a lot if you're both in each others closet and stuff..

Yeah, I was at Brixton too. I don't normally like them, but I thought they were very good last night. And as for Coheed, jesus.

I have seen them thrice overall.
Here's my pics from yesterday, they're a bit grainy as f.uck cus it was dark and I can't completely handle my camera yet. I also don't know what I was really going for in some of them....Anyhow.....

Nice pics Jas. An acoustic set must have been awesome.
Epi: That explains why I've never seen you before.

Thrice really are amazing live. I'd love to see them with Coheed. That would just be mind blowing. They need to do a Canadian tour together. Soon.

I saw them on the 28th with Coheed. Although I prefered Coheed, Thrice still put on a great show. He sure can sing well live. :)

They played Under A Killing Moon (I weed), Of Dust And Nations, and Red Sky. It was amazing. :) Loved it. Yeah Dustin is amazing at singing live, it's just amazing how he can go from screaming to amazing melodies, I love it.

I heard an acoustic version of TAITA, which was amazing. Dustin's voice on that was flawless.
I've never heard any of their acoustic stuff :(

I've got a video of acoustic Cold Cash and Colder Hearts, I love that too much. It's just not natural. I also have a couple of acoustics on a Warped tour DVD I think?? I also have an acoustic of Trust off some compilation or other.

They did "Stare At The Sun" acoustic for an encore when I saw them. It was so nice, everyone was singing along.
Will they be on the Warped Tour this year?

I was at the brixton gig. I wasn't too impress with thrice. Maybe because i thought their setlist was a bit pants. Deadbolt, TAITA and Image of the invisible were good. But there were too many mediocre songs. Plus i got battered throughout the whole thrice set, i'm still bruised now. I needed to keep my place for coheed though :) 1 head from the front
