Well, I didn't find a topic about Cartel, so I figured I'd open one. If you've heard them discuss, and if you haven't check them out.

I downloaded The Ransom EP from the YSI when it was up, its good from what i remember.
Chroma was disappointing, but "A" is Cartel's best song ever.

I thought Chroma was leaps and bounds better than The Ransom EP. There isn't one song on that cd that I don't love to death.
Chroma was disappointing to me for a few reasons:
1) The Ransom EP is in general faster, and I think it fits their style better
2) They tore apart "Save Us". The demo sounded a lot more emotional
3) They ruined "Luckie St." as well
It has it's moments I suppose. "Nothing Wrong", "Burn This City" and "A" in particular.

How can they really have a style developed yet, they've only had one LP? I actually think that the newer version of Luckie St. is crisper and better. But opinions are opinions.

I did like the older version of Luckie St. better but I didn't think the version off Chroma was bad. I also agree Kif, Save Us is probably my least favorite song off of that album.

Actually to help you no you can't get it, I tried looking for it but couldn't find it, so you're just going to have to sit down and figure it out by ear, it wont be that hard, just put some effort into it.
