hello, i know this is one of many refinishing threads but i just had a quick question. Will taking the wraps off and refinishing my drums do anything to the sound of the drum?

No, it will have little to no effect on the sound.

it could make the sound better. Some wraps are ****ty and vibrate a bit.

might actually free up the sound a bit. be careful with the blow drier! dont wanna warp those shells..
