well if im not mistaken, 2005 is the same as 3005, cept birch as apposed to maple, and with less finishes, and lower grade hardware, I havn't owned either, nor a sonor expert, but I would assume it would be a good pickup. Whatever Sonor make I heard was great.
Yeah the 3005 is no better in quality than the 2005 other than hardware.
Just 2 different woods and depends on what sound you want out of your drums

ive never tried it, but it seems like a pretty decent set. Just try to hear it for yourself if you dont know what birch sounds like (well you should try any set out in general)

no, the 2005 is absolutely a quality drumset. the only real difference between the 2005 nd the 3005 is one is maple, one is birch. And it's funny how you're recommending either a 3005 or an M Birch, when the M Birch is essentially the equivalent to the 2005, while the Pro M matches up with the 3005. But like you said, you're no good with Sonor.

No, you misunderstood me.
I meant either save up for a 3005 or dont save up and get an M Birch instead
