hey, one of my good friends brothers is going to buy a drum kit, and he has decided on a pulse kit, mainly because he doesnt have much to spend, but the thing is he needs cymbals too, and i was looking for a good but cheap cymbal package for around 100 dollars u.s, but i came up to a set of pulse and zildjian plante z's i heard the planet z's aren't any good, so im wondering which of the 2 i should suggest for him or if you guys could help me out and name some cheap cymbals.

i would go with whuans, cheap and good. If it has to be in a pack then sabian B8s, I got the basic pack when i bought my set, it came with a crash/ride and hi hats. Or he can save a bit more and get paiste PST5 pack.

I got Sabian Solars but everybody seems to hate them. Meh they're ok.

hey it turns out now that he isn't getting a pulse, and hes going to save up his money for a different kit other then the pulse.. so could you guys maybe suggest any good starting kits? thanks again for those that post and for any feed back on this.

keep in mind if u get a kit with cymbols....It will most likely suck. I got the ZXT zyligan pack for like 160. Came with china, crash, ride, n hihats. And they sound perfect to me.

Usually the internet is more. You gotta pay shipping while at guitar center I ordered all my chinas there and I just payed the price of the chinas with taxes.
