Switching back to single pedal. Ive been really lazy since ive gotten my double so I want to switch to single again. I used to be really good at single but then once i got double i kind of lost my single pedaling skills. I would kinda like that back. so when i get payed at the end of this month im going to buy a dw5000 single pedal. So if anyones interested in a DW7000 double I figure Ill sell it on ebay starting bid $100 or buy it now $150. Its in perfect condition. I take good care of my gear. Still have the box it came in too.

Sounds good for a used 7000.

And good idea switching back to single pedal. To keep some of the double-bass feel, learn heel-toe.

Oh, and you should also sometimes switch your kit around and keep your left foot in shape.

why don't you just take the slave pedal off of the pedal...and then once you get your single ability back put it back on...that would save tons of money...

well i already took the slave off and im jsut using the single but i figure i dont dig double bass too much..its just not me. Im a single bass type of person. I might as well sell it and have someone get use out of the double pedal then ill just buy a higher end single pedal. Plus ill have lot of money to blow anyway since i have work now. :D. I used to be able to do heel toe well but man after i got that double...like i said...i got lazy.

Thats the same thing I did a few years ago and I dont miss the double one bit. Might as well get something for the double while you still can if you are pretty sure you wont be switching back.

Yeah. Im pretty sure i wont be switching back. Im just not fond of double bass now that ive played it and got pretty well with it. I just feel i would be better off with single pedal and heel toe.

trust me...i remembered Chad, but as much as i love him, his single bass speed is nowhere near that of Nicko...Nicko can play faster on a single than most people can play on double...lol

you dont have to give up double bass, just use some restraint. learn how NOT to overplay.
