Music naming program?

I've just finished ripping all 250 + of my CD's onto my PC and of course, they come up as "Track 1 - Unknown Artist" etc, and I really don't want to have to go through every track naming each one.

Does anyone know of a program that will find out the name of the song/artist and save the details, or at least cut down on the amount of time I spend doing it manualy?

If you use Itunes, you can do whole albums at once (like select them all and give an album title and a band name), but that's about all.

Music brainz is good for most stuff, but I've found it has often mashed up my tags for Asian bands and artists.

If you ripped them with WMP, and they're the actual CD's, it automatically detects the album info for you that has been written in by others. But post-rip I have no idea.

When using the media library, you can right click songs then click "Find album info" to correct the songs tags. Its alright for some stuff, but for others its a pain in the arse.

when i rip cd's i use MP3Producer.. when you rip the cd, there's a button which is "freeDB" or something like that, which enables the program to look in the freeDB database for the same album and it renames the songs.

You might have to pay for the full version i don't know. i got my version cracked from a friend..

Uh...It usually find the names automatically if you're online through iTunes or WMP.

I use mp3tag. It's free and it gets the info from freedb so you dont have to type it in.

Yeah I rip all my CDs on iTunes, and as long as I'm connected they tag properly.
