Hi, I just got my 3005 and set it up. Can anyone comment on how my drums are set up, maybe some suggestions? Thanks in advance to whoever helps me!:chug:

Looks nice dude! Im loveing the ride. Mabye try putting the ride cymbal a little farther away so it doesnt bear over your floor tom as much?

Also, try lowering your hats a little or raising the snare. Thats what id prefer, having the two a little closer.

I want a 3005.

>_<

It actually looks pretty decent, toms aren't at too extreme of an angle. A couple of those cymbals (the one near your HH's, especially) you might want to try flattening a bit.

5000s = pure shecks

Nice choice.

yeah i love them sooo much. I had iron cobra jr's and they suck so hard compared to the 5000. I know there is a huge price diffrence though heh...

Nice ride and pedals.

Setup looks great, nice pickup all around.

The heads that came with the set suck though. Ive replaced only the snare head so far...The bass sounds good, I put a pillow in it...I know some people say not to do this but it works great.

I'd flatten the cymbals a little. And I would never use the crash on the right because it's so out of the way, but if it's comfy for you then do what works.

you could move the floor tom a wee bit closer to you so you dont ever accidentally tap the ride

looking at your crash i would say you ride your crash xD..
You're terrible in taking pictures and cleaning cymbals xD jkn man :)..

i say flatten you cymbals a little, maybe lower them a bit..

Does cleaning cymbals enhance the sound?

Im sorry bout the bad pics my drums are backed up into a wall so it was hard to get a back view without doing 1 half then the other.

I am suppose to be reciving my other floor tom soon...'

If you like dark cymbals, no
If you like bright cymbals, yes

Nice kit man.

Why not WHITE LACQUER SPARKLE?!

Yeah, White Sparkle is awesome, its the best finish you can get a 3005 or 2005 in.

Did I mention that's what I got mine in? :D

Anyways, nice kit thread starter. Good choice, I think you'll be as pleased as I am.

I kind of think, that normal colours are a waste. Colours like Wine Red, Black, Silver ( Not so common ) and Metallic Blue can ALL be found on cheap beginner kits.

Thats why my next kit will be in Tobacco Fade or Ice Blue Fade, A Pro M :)

BTW - I have a new keyboard so now I have an ' e ' button :D

IM a bland guy when it comes to colors. I dont like to stand out so I chose the same approach with my drum set. BLACK is my favorite color too!
