Thats a terrible advice.
As for the song, it does have some sort of structure, but its all blury and sloppy.
Make sure you are comfortable with changing chords before you start singing over it. just do simple strums to keep in time nothing fancy and concentrate on your singing.
And dont stop singing, lessons are good if you have the money but its only with the practice that you get better.

thanks, that's a lot more usefull than the other guy's comments. I won't be taking lessons for either singing or guitar playing as I already have 2 bass lessons a week. Oh, and if anyone wants to take the time, and listen to my other songs, I was wondering how this one compares to them.

errr...I guess its ok...but I will tell you to stick with your bass ...I mean I cant say your singing is superb, but I won't say its that bad either. And I guess your guitar playing is...ummm OK and i guess also the timing isnt so bad...but If you plan on making great music combining singing and acoustic, take some lessons. If you like singing, I would go for some lessons cuz I can see you enjoy singing.
That's all I can say, and dont stop recording songs, its a nice hobby.
