Okay,so I am dangerously close to being out of disk space on my computer. So I recently did a disk cleanup(not a system restore, just a regular cleanup) and it deleted my shortcut to Internet Explorer,my Windows games,my speaker control shortcuts, and the little thingie that lets me record audio for 30 seconds. I am sure there is more but I haven't discovered yet. Is there anyway to get this back without doing a system restore? Any help would sure be appreciated.

So, you cleaned some stuff out because you were low on space but now you changed your mind and want to run out of disk space?

If I read correctly, yes.

If all it did was delete the shortcuts, just open your start menu and check your program list for them.

Sound recorder should be under Accessories >> Entertainment, your Windows games should be in the program tab named Games and your speaker controls are in the task bar on the right hand side (the task icon is a little speaker).

To access IE, it should be in the quick launch bar right next to your start button, but if it isn't there then open up your start menu, right click anywhere in the white space, go to Properties >> Customize and in the Show on start menu section there should be a drag and select box marked internet. Select Internet Explorer and click OK. Now, when you open your start menu IE should be right there at the top.
