View Full Version : RIP Pig Champion
Feel The Darkness

Tom Roberts, aka Pig Champion, guitarist for legendary hc punk band, POISON IDEA, passed away recently. Not too sure on the details, but I do know that a big chunk of what made hc punk what it is has left us.
RIP
I have also decided when I finally manage to pull a band together, our demo will be called "PIG CHAMPION RIDES AGAIN" in honor of this beats of a man.
For those not in the know, Poison Idea released a demo entitled, "Darby Crash Rides Again".
I'd break edge just for him.
:chug:
PS - I'm not breaking edge.

I think any guitarist with pig in their is name basically signed up for a premature death.
Dennis "Piggy" D'armour, and now this.
RIP

He became the self-proclaimed Pig Champion after hitting the 450lb mark.

Holy crap, I love Poison Idea. This is a huge blow, I know you seen them last year and I would have liked to have seen them with that lineup. Rest in piece, hardcore punk fans with never forget.
**** Ian Mackaye.

It was the washed up line-up though. I think Jerry was the only original member, but it was still a fun show. I wish I could have seen em with their original line-up. ****, that would've been the best show imaginable, bar none.
