New Brand New Demos

Well, 9 demos have leaked. What do you all think of them?

Personally, I think untitled 04 is the one that stuck in my mind as the best.

I hope the final album isn't as focussed on acoustic guitar and Jesse's vocals as much, because as much as I love him, Brand New are made amazing by the use of the whole band.
On some of the songs, you can really see Jesse's love of Morrissey coming through, especially on untitled 02.

I can't upload them for you today because I'm out as soon as this thread has been made pretty much, but go to http://www.isohunt.com and search for Brand New, and you can find a torrent of them. Or just look on SlSk.

I am trying to work out whether they are amazing, or a disappointment.

Yay I finally got them, I'm listening to track 2 right now, sounds good.

It says on their wikipedia article that those are 9 tracks that probably WON'T be on the new cd, but its a suggestion at what they'll sound like on the new cd.

Anyway, I'm not really liking the new songs all that much, at least nowhere near as much as their past albums.

At first the new songs were a big letdown.
But after listening to them a lot, I believe they are great. Some of the lyrics are great (the fifth one), yet some are so simple, yet so effective (the third one).

I was just saying that you got a name change it seems. Because your name was different when you posted, and I looked back and it was now what it currently is.

Jesse's voice definately sounds like Morrissey in many of these demos. Track 2 in particular could have been a Morrissey song, in my opinion.
Don't know about Till and The Wall though.
