So if you dont want to answer ignore this post and keep talking about the other topic. Again, sorry for the intruption. So the thing is im new so i cant make a new thread. Well im getting a bass for my birthday (comin up) and my limit is about 200 bucks. So im thinking this one, tell me if its a good beginner one if you have the time. Thanks!:

I've never heard of those amps before. How do they sound?
The vintage look is cool though.

My dream rig is still a Mesa Rig

Those amps are bloody attractive. I bet they sound awesome, too. The price is surreal, though.

the guitarist in my band has an orange, and his epiphone guitar sounds like pure sex through it... i've never see green amps before though.

Green amps are made by matamp, which used to own orange. so the question is yes they are kind of the same company. to this day matamp makes just about any color you can think of

also very sexy. not the man the amp. that is a 8x10 white amp

ohh yeah and all of these are tone monsters. that beg for me to play them, or is it the other way around

awesome.. i never knew of White or Green.... im pretty sure SmoovGroove (post's once in a GOOD while) has an Orange stack, which is why he sold his Ampeg head (priviously AP's, now Mine)

Orange is pretty rare and vintagey, no?

Orange amps are sweet, I saw the Kaiser Chiefs and the guitarist was playing through an Orange and he sounded sweet. Predictably the bassist was using a Ampeg SVT and Ampeg 8x10.

i want an orange amp soooo bad. They are damn expensive. Ive never seen green white or anything else though, they look awesome.

There's a "Rumor" that Orange is going to start making products in america, thus lowering the cost.

orange sounds so sweet-*** and vintage.

green is from matamp who does all these different color amps and crap. eventually some people broke off and created orange.

i tried a used green head at the last American Guitar Convention and it sounded almost exactly like Orange.

OK, I have this bass and use it as my main one. For a Squier, it is pretty kickass. It can be growly, plunky, thumpy, bassy, trebly, or anything that you want it to be. The neck is like a combination of a P and a J, so it is mid-range in terms of thickness.

I'm sorry to hack this again, but I will say: no. Search for an Ibanez GSR200 or a Richwood Jazz bass and you will have yourself a good bass for the price :thumb:

And orange amps sound sweet on guitar, for bass? Don't know.
