My action is pretty low, with almost no buzzing generally. But I notice that if the volume on my amp is pretty low, and I don't finger the note just right, I'll get a buzz. It doesnt even make it through the speaker its so slight, and I'm not about to raise the action (I've grown to like it like this). But I'm just sort of asking for curiosities sake, do you have a slight buzz too?
(Now I'm not talking about a significant rattle caused by a bad settup or a cheap bass. Just a tiny buzz. A 2 light beer kind of buzz)

this varies from bass to bass but for the most part very low action is almost always accompanied by some kind of buzz, if set up properly, it should be very little

My MM is set pretty low and I'll get buzz on the higher strings, but nothing that bad.

I get buzz in the higher registers if I start playing too hard. Mostly just on my G and C strings, though. But, yeah. My bass is pretty well set up, and the action is almost as low as it can go. I still get some buzz like you described.

I get buzz if i hit the strings really hard, but most people dont like playing my bass becasue i make the action really low on the D and G strings and make it really high on the E and A strings.

i only get buzz on my a string if i strike the string hard past the 12th fret >:o but i just switched to large gauge strings and my action was pretty low so u might want to try raising yours just a bit

I get slight acoustic fret buzz but none comes through my amp. I like my action as low as it can get on a fender

A little on some frets, it gives it a little growl.

my bass is so annoying. i mess aroundiwth the truss rod and the bridge and the saddles. it still buzzes extremely in the lower frets.

I only ever get buzzing if I don't finger the note correctly. It also has very slight fret buzz on the first fret on the G string.
It's not really bad at all though.

A little tiny bit maybe, but that's very low. I was wondering.. I have jumbofrets (as they call them) if I get smaller frets, will that work to have a lower action? :p
