Eden vs. Gallien Krueger

Who makes better bass cabs gallien-krueger or eden?

eden, i think there is more clarity and a better sound from eden stuff.

I like Eden alot more.Ive only played through a couple of GKs though,and the local music store is stuffed with Edens.So my opinion may be a little biased.:p

better cabs, I'd probably say Eden. They are much clearer I think (from what I've heard, haven't tried them out). I've played GK at a practice studio a bunch of times, not bad, but not the best. The head was great, but the cabs weren't.

eden by far. BEst sounding cabs & amps around. No one beats their tone

I've played through some rockin' GK's but te only Eden i've played through is a Nemisis. Good amp but I really want to try some 'proper' eden cabs.

yeah, they arent really in the same 'league' (so to speak) of amplification...

Hartke vs. GK would be a better match.. or, Eden Vs. Ampeg perhaps...

Though, of the two (like everyone else) i say Eden

GK is about the best you can get for the price, but Eden blows them out of the water.

Eden is superior in every way and my bass teacher told me that GK uses cheap *** parts and when their **** breaks it can be really annoying finding spare parts

GK is nice, not exactly warm sounding but nice all the same. Having said that their new hybrid tube pre/ss power head looks sweet.

I tried an Eden head through a 2x15 of thiers and its was so amazing, it's now my new GAS

GK is better known I'd say, Eden if you know of them usualy stands out as a better brand, I always think of them as a more upperlcass brand.
But Gallien Krueger is blatently a catchier name.

....eden is more upper-class.. which is why everyone has said Eden, and said that they arent really compareable....

...what does the catchiness of the name matter :confused:

gk heads have loads of growl but the cabs are supposed to be fairly avarage . in a cab id go for eden.
