I'm really surprised, he was one of the first bassists I got really interested in and his website has never changed for a year so it came as a shock when I see his website has completely changed, great to see he's still in action.

The song on his homepage is kinda cool, but there are times during the trading 4s where I'd rather he stuck with the slower funkier stuff. He just loves overplaying...

I think he's great, if you're referring to that really quick tapping he does then I will agree with you, but his straight forward slapping is what I like

Yeah, I think his finger style solos are where he shines the most, his solos are so melodic, I do like his left hand slapping though, I wanna learn how to do the left hand slapping, he's taken it to a whole new level

I agree but without that style of slapping, no one would know about him. not all of his slap is rediculous. Listen to some of the songs on his site.
