Here's my annual Basslines at Berklee checkup thread.

I just got my acceptance letter today.

Where's everybody else at in the process?

Tryxx

I should be able to make it. I'm not sure exactly how the summer semester is different, but every other time my classes have just been on Tuesday's and Thursdays. If that's the case, I'll be there.

As soon as I find out that info, I'll register.

Im not going to the program.....way too much money and stuff. But, when is it, exactly? I live not too far from Boston, and could stop in to see you guys.

It went up $65, but that's just because of the dorms.

Probably because I broke the bathroom in mine.

Yeah, except you know that you'll be comparing it to the last time you went, and unless eveyone who went last time goes again, it wont be as good as last time.

Should be decent though.

I felt horrible.

I learned a whole lot, actually; perhaps more from other MX'ers than the teachers, but that's because of the quick time you're there. Don't get me wrong though, there's a lot to gain by being there. You learn much about the role of the instrument, other people's perspectives and their take on playing. Groove, shredding, it doesn't really matter, it all kind of blends in. Just watching actually talented people play is great, people that can give you advice and know what they're talking about.

I say it's really worth going if you think you can afford it, but that's me.
