is it full size or 3/4? and also can u get an upright made with like fret inlays? that would be awesome
I thought they didn't make full size anymore, or at least they're very uncommon.

yeah.. a REAL full size double is HUGE! stupidly huge. a REAL 3/4 is pretty big too. but... most basses you see.. anything that an online store sells..hofner or whatever, is 'named' 3/4, but in actual fact is some weird hybrid size- normalish neck with a smaller body. most luthiers will make them, but they are not mass produced in any way and are usually only made on request.
oh and to be useful... i have no idea about stanley clarkes double but id say its a '3/4', as he played electric too and its common for bass players to prefer cimiliar string spacing and note spacing.
as for the fret inlays.. theyd look egly as ****. most student double basses have fret dots on the side of the fingerboard for 3,5,7 etc.
