By far, one of the sickest grooves I've heard; Charles "Meat Man" Meeks (if that IS him...) outdid himself with this one.
This groove deserves an FS for several reasons; for all that the bass did for the song, for how great it sounds (slap on P :D), and simply, for just being insanely fun.
I won't write much about it. It hasn't changed the way anyone looks or plays bass. It didn't get any recognition, and it may not get any after this, either. But it's fun. So fun, it got me to start slapping, haha.
The song starts off with a simple drum beat, followed by the groove. This is surely what people remember after hearing it countless times.
I know this is a horrible FS, badly done and all, but bare with me. It's the only way I could think of to get people to listen to the groove. I'll record it in a while (not slapping, though).

Note: I play the 5's as open notes (I didn't tab it out, although that's the only difference). Do whatever feels best.
