What bass does Andy Bell in Oasis use. It's really bugging me, Ive tried to find a picture but there are no clear shots of the headstock so that didnt help. Also none of the sites say what gear he uses.

So hopefully this thread can have a point other than me asking one simple question. So um well I can't think of one.

Um discuss the bass and its prominance in Brit pop.

Oasis never really had a decent bassist but Alex James from Blur was pretty damn cool with some nice lines. But the guy from Ocean Colour scene takes the brit pop crown for me bass wise. He had such melodic and rhytmic lines and also was completley audiable.
